We provide Traditional Japanese Medicine (Kampo, or Kampo Medicine), painfree Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Cupping, Shiatsu Meridian Massage, herbal teas and health counselling.
The fundamental principles of TCM came from China well over a thousand years ago, and from that the Japanese have created their own unique TJM system of diagnostics and medical herbalism.
Kampo uses most of the TJM medical system, including the medicinal benefits of healthy food and herbs, massage and Chi-gong, as well as acupuncture and moxibustion. However, it is primarily concerned with and focussed upon medical herbalism.
In Kampo, it is considered that a lesion of the organ, or a disturbance of the energy balance is reflected in the abdomen.
Therefore since the year 1300, abdominal palpation
is the most important form of diagnosis by Kampo movement, as well as the reading of the pulses.
In the Edo era, abdominal palpation was especially improved by use of Herbal formulas.
